Heavy Diesel Fitter Role

We are seeking a Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our Maintenance Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with industry standards.
  • Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Source technical information from relevant documentation and computer systems.
  • Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Carrying out pre-start checks.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in the mining or heavy earth moving industry.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs and servicing of CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi mobile equipment.
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times.
