Mobile Equipment Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that local workers develop their skills and knowledge by sharing your expertise and being a role model.
Main Responsibilities:- CARRY OUT SCHEDULED SERVICING TO MOBILE EQUIPMENT IN A SAFE MANNER AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH PROCEDURES, REGULATIONS AND THE RELEVANT SERVICE SHEETS.
- Mentor and coach national trades personnel in high productivity underground contracting mining environments.
- Utilize skill and experience to create minimum downtime on machinery.
- Evaluate equipment faults and report them to the Maintenance Foreman for scheduling into the workshop weekly planning.
- A demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude toward ensuring that safety is front of mind for all employees at all times.
- At least 5 years post-apprenticeship experience working within the underground mining industry on large mobile equipment.
- Strong background working with latest generation SANDVIK, CAT and Atlas underground mobile equipment and associated automation systems.
- High degree of knowledge and skill in troubleshooting problems on electric hydraulic drilling equipment.
