Electrical Design Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills as an Electrical Designer in a critical infrastructure setting.

As part of our Telecommunications division, you will work collaboratively with a team to create detailed designs and provide cost estimates for materials and labour. Your expertise will be essential in assisting the construction team during project execution and maintaining accurate database records and as-built drawings.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
  • Technical knowledge of Low Voltage and DC power systems
  • Proficiency in bill of quantities preparation and interpreting CAD drawings
  • Competency in MS Office, especially Excel for preparing bills of quantities and tender costs estimates
  • A current manual driver's licence
  • Ability to work away from home when required
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, OH&S legislation/guidelines, and environmental legislation/licensing

Bonus Skills:

  • Developing solar and battery designs for commercial markets
  • Familiarity with solar industry regulations and requirements
  • Understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
