Job Opportunity

The role of Team Leader is a part-time position that involves leading a team in delivering an exceptional experience for guests.

This adventure takes place on a 298-step staircase located outside the building, with guests harnessed to a purpose-built safety rail system. The Climb Leaders guide guests through a 90-minute experience.

Responsibilities
  • Guests are greeted, registered, and processed while ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Interaction with guests during climbs provides information on local landmarks and captures memorable photos.
  • Leaders coach and support their team, fostering a positive culture.
  • Operations are overseen daily, ensuring safety and service excellence.
  • Ongoing training and performance reviews are conducted.
  • Maintenance of equipment and inventory monitoring track sales performance.
  • Transition between roles as needed.
  • Support is given to the team in delivering the guest experience.
Key Requirements
  • Experience in leadership highly advantageous.
  • A solutions-focused mindset and ability to handle pressure situations.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and procedures.
  • Ability to relate to people with varying interests and cultural backgrounds.
  • Confident public speaker who enjoys talking to small groups.
  • Empathy and confidence in handling matters.
  • Comfortable working at heights (the climb reaches 270m).
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification and Queensland Working at Heights Certification or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Previous experience in a similar role advantageous.
  • Flexibility with availability across a 7-day roster.
