About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meal preparation and customer service in a fun and energetic environment.

Job Summary

The Catering Officer/Cook position provides an opportunity to showcase your cooking and customer service skills in a unique setting. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for visitors participating in various sport and active recreation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals to suit a variety of clients and their dietary requirements;
  • Undertake stock control in the kitchen, including ordering, checking, and monitoring goods from suppliers;
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and food storage rooms in compliance with hygiene and food handling safety regulations;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Able to prepare and cook high-quality meals to suit a variety of clients and their dietary requirements;
  • Experience undertaking stock control in the kitchen, order, check and monitor goods from suppliers and maintain kitchen equipment and food storage rooms in compliance with hygiene and food handling safety regulations;
  • Willingness to work on a rostered basis including some weekends (shift times vary summer to winter but morning and evening shifts are available).
