Veterinary Nurse For Equine And Large Animal Hospital

Our team seeks an experienced and skilled veterinary nurse to work with our internal medicine specialists in a hospital setting, providing high quality care for equine, large animal, and hobby farm patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and treat hospitalized patients, including emergency triage and critical care.
- Work closely with surgeons on elective and emergency procedures.
- Provide support to primary opinion clinicians for emergency and non-emergency consultations.
- Work as part of the clinical team in a 24/7 roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an equine or large animal veterinary nurse in a clinical setting.
- Ability to work effectively in high pressure situations with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail in record keeping and documentation; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience and/or knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety principles.
