Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized professional to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, preferably with a focus on industrial properties.

The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating projects, and maintaining relationships with tenants, contractors, and vendors. This role involves managing a team of Facility Managers, overseeing their tasks, and ensuring the team is well-coordinated and efficient in daily operations.

  • Property Management Support: Assist in the overall management of a diverse portfolio of properties, including industrial, office, and land.
  • Team Leadership: Direct the Facility Manager team consisting of 4 employees, two of whom are based out of state.
  • Proposal Management: Prepare, send, and analyze proposals for various property services.
  • Financial Management: Review and analyze operating expense billings to ensure accuracy and budget compliance.
  • Brokerage Team Support: Assist the brokerage team with property showings and managing scheduling for property tours and meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial property management, with a preference for industrial property management experience.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for reporting, communication, and scheduling.
  • Multitasking: Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
