About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sushi preparation and/or Japanese kitchen techniques.

This is a full-time position at Sunshine Plaza. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food products at all times.

  • Manage daily deliveries of food and non-food items to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Supervise food preparation and rotation requirements for service.
  • Anticipate and attend to guest needs promptly.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in Sashimi preparation and Communication. Experience with Tempura and Robata would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

  1. Food Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality at all times.
  2. Delivery Management: Verify accuracy and quality of daily deliveries.
  3. Team Leadership: Supervise and direct food preparation teams.
  4. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests by anticipating their needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sushi preparation and/or Japanese kitchen techniques.
  • Strong skills in Sashimi preparation and Communication.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
