Sous Chef Culinary Expert

About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sushi preparation and/or Japanese kitchen techniques.
This is a full-time position at Sunshine Plaza. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food products at all times.
- Manage daily deliveries of food and non-food items to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Supervise food preparation and rotation requirements for service.
- Anticipate and attend to guest needs promptly.
The successful candidate will have strong skills in Sashimi preparation and Communication. Experience with Tempura and Robata would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Food Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality at all times.
- Delivery Management: Verify accuracy and quality of daily deliveries.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and direct food preparation teams.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests by anticipating their needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sushi preparation and/or Japanese kitchen techniques.
- Strong skills in Sashimi preparation and Communication.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
