Job Summary

Charterhouse Medical is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Professional to join our team as a Principal House Officer/Registrar in Emergency Medicine at our regional hospital in Bundaberg.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in a dynamic team environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our hospital's services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a Principal House Officer/Registrar in the Emergency Department, providing medical care to patients and contributing to the development of the department's services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff members and contribute to the development of the hospital's education program.

Requirements

  • General, Provisional or limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain.
  • IMG's completing UK Foundation Programme.
  • IMG's that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam).
  • IMG's eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada or Ireland).
  • IMG's assessed by RACP College as partially or substantially comparable.
  • IMG's interested in foreign training via the Short Term training specialist pathway (STT).
  • Have experience working as a General Medicine Registrar.
