As the Product Owner for our media-processing platform, you will drive strategic direction and execution for low-level components from C++ codec pipelines to Go-based microservices. You will work closely with Broadcast Engineering, Lead Developers, and the Architecture team to translate real-time IP-broadcasting challenges into a prioritized backlog of features and user stories. In this role, you will report directly to the Platform Product Director.

Key objectives include ensuring operational plans are achieved while providing technical direction and ensuring the team understands the technical implementations of their work.

The successful candidate must have the right to live and work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for creating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Management and the development team.
  • Provide technical direction and ensure the team understands the technical implementations of their work.
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to ensure successful sprint planning and execution.
  • Define and manage product release plans according to the TFC GA process.
  • Monitor product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics.
