Speech Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in delivering evidence-based support to children and young people impacted by trauma, mental health challenges, and developmental needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed professional to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide consultation and share insights to support trauma-informed care and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to overcome participation barriers and support meaningful engagement.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals to identify and address developmental, social, and communication needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a Speech Therapist with:

  • Recognised tertiary university qualifications in Speech Pathology and current Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (CPSP).
  • Minimum 2 years experience delivering speech therapy to children and youth, including assessment, intervention, and therapy across clinic, community, and school-based settings.
  • Experience working with children who have experienced complex trauma.

Role Details

This part-time position involves 15.2 hours per week (with future possibility of full-time increase as demand grows) and offers an attractive remuneration package, with a salary of $56.61 per hour ($113,755 per annum pro rata).
