Therapist for Children's Development

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Penrith, NSW. As an Occupational Therapist at Early Start Australia, you will play a crucial role in providing early intervention and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation.
The ideal candidate for this position will be highly skilled in delivering evidence-based therapy interventions and resources, as well as have excellent communication skills to work with clients and families.
About the Role- This is a full-time position based in Penrith, NSW, working with children aged 0-12 years old with neurodiverse backgrounds.
- As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting standardised clinical assessments, developing functional goals, and implementing therapy interventions to support client outcomes.
- You will also work closely with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing communication and support.
- Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans for each client.
- Conducting regular progress reviews and making adjustments as needed.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records of client progress and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with current registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in providing Occupational Therapy to children with neurodiverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
