We are seeking a highly skilled Wills and Estates Lawyer to join our team at AFL Recruitment. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with high-end clients and be part of a thriving practice.

About the Role

This is a senior role in our Wills and Estates team, reporting to the Practice Group Director. You will be responsible for advising and transacting on a full spectrum of matters, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, succession planning, asset protection, guardianship, and administration of deceased estates. You will also have the opportunity to litigate on Family Provision Act claims.

Requirements
  • Admitted as a lawyer in NSW with minimum 6 years post-admission experience.
  • Preferably an Accredited Specialist in succession law or have attained/studying a Graduate Diploma of Applied Law (Wills and Estates) or Master of Laws specializing in Wills/Estates.
  • Strong time prioritization, people/leadership, and client management skills.
  • Results-focused, proactive, and have a strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Enjoy building relationships and have had some new client development/marketing experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and legal software skills.
  • Ambitious and seeking a long-term 'legal home' with a premier firm.
