About the Role:

This position is responsible for developing finance expertise to promote operational efficiency within a collaborative team. Reporting to the Finance and Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will be mainly responsible for communicating with colleagues and liaising with service providers and suppliers.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Processing debtor's invoices/credit notes and maintaining accounts receivable databases
  • Collecting outstanding non-rate debtors in accordance with policy
  • Reconciling bank accounts daily and investigating discrepancies for unmatched transactions
  • Liaising with third-party service providers to set up new initiatives enhancing banking/debtors
  • Providing support to Customer Service staff in resolving banking and cashier issues
  • Responding to client/builder queries and performing additional clerical functions

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in Authorities (advantageous)
  • Substantial knowledge of GST
  • Analytical, numeracy, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competence in prioritising and organising tasks to meet deadlines
