Compassionate Support Worker

We are currently recruiting Casual Disability Support Workers who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for those living at home who require disability support.

This role involves liaising with a wide range of multidisciplinary health professionals including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech Pathologists to provide exceptional in-home care to our valued participants.

As a Casual Disability Support Worker, you will be providing attendant care and support worker services to individuals often with an acquired brain injury, spinal injury or physical or mental disability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Community and Social Access, including support with transport and attendance to leisure or personal appointments
  • Goal support, including assistance with achieving personal goals and recording progress notes
  • Mentoring, including life skills, education and general problem solving
  • Personal care support work, including assistance with showering, shaving, toileting, manual handling, and medication
