Job Title: Client Support Advocate

This role involves working closely with clients to understand and implement funded supports in their NDIS plans, while connecting them with the right services to meet their individual needs. As a Client Support Advocate, you will work independently to build client capacity to manage these supports.

Responsibilities include accepting and actioning referrals for NDIS Support Coordination, partnering with clients and their families/representatives to strengthen their ability to manage supports within their NDIS plan, navigating and working effectively within the NDIS funding framework and terms of business, responding appropriately when a client's needs change or escalate, and building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and can work out of either our office locations.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in case management or support coordination within the Disability sector, with a strong understanding of the NDIS framework and terms of business. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant humanities field are desirable; however, what matters most is your kindness, empathy, communication skills, and ability to work independently while remaining connected to a supportive and collaborative team. The successful candidate must obtain or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Clearance, and WA Working with Children Check.
