Job Opportunity

The Canteen Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of school canteen services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food items to students before school, during recess, and lunch.
  • Assist with front counter transactions, handling cash as required.
  • Prepare fresh food and heat pre-prepared meals daily.
  • Maintain strict food safety standards at all times.
  • Support Flexischools lunch orders as needed.
  • Ensure the canteen remains clean and organized.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills when interacting with staff, students, and parents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Canteen Manager or Principal.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Personal commitment to Christian values and regular attendance at church.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Acceptance of Penrith Anglican College's Statement of Faith and living a lifestyle consistent with this.
  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) number.
