**Brief Description**:
Neutral Bay Public School P&C Association is looking for a School Canteen Member to join our friendly team. This is a casual role 3 days per week with an occasional, additional day or two required when needed. The main focus of this role is to work with the team to create healthy, tasty menu items for primary school aged children. The role will report to the P&C President.

You will work with 2 other Canteen Team Members and also with our valued parent volunteers within set times. Other tasks will include but are not limited to daily canteen operations, cleaning, monthly stock take and ordering. This role would suit someone who is friendly, enjoys working collaboratively and within the wider Neutral Bay community.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Knowledge of food safety standards, the Fresh Tastes NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy and current hygiene practices
- Ability to work with a team and manage ongoing relationships with key stakeholders
- Effective workplace communication skills.
- Demonstrated time management skills, ability to work within tight deadlines and must be reliable

**To be successful in this role you must hold**:

- A current Working with Children check
- Experience with, or willing to be trained, in First Aid/ CPR/ emergency asthma management and anaphylaxis training

**Hours/Conditions/Award**:
This is casual position 15 hours per week during NSW Public School Term Dates (Mon-Fri 9am-2pm).

Remuneration will be as per the Fast Food Industry Award 2020 for Fast Food Employee Level 1 (Casual).
