Talent Focus is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts in Australia. As a global company, we require a dynamic and experienced professional to oversee the supply of raw materials, manage daily stock issues, and ensure continuous production flow in line with business growth forecasts.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the logistics of finished products and spare parts across Australia, Europe, and the USA.
- Analyze and mitigate supplier risks, implement dual sourcing strategies, and expand the supplier base.
- Drive improvements in inventory and supply chain procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Serve as an advisory member of the product development team, sourcing materials and providing insights on Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD).
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure they meet quality and delivery standards; collaborate with other departments to qualify new suppliers.
- Work with Quality Assurance to achieve ISO 13485 compliance, focusing on supplier control and material controls.
- Exercise purchasing authority within company policy.
- Review and authorize site-level Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Set Kanban levels and re-order quantities.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of engineering and technical background in complex manufacturing.
- Expertise in ERP systems, particularly JDE.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI.
- Opportunity to work with a global company.
- Chance to lead a team of 5 direct reports.
- Willingness to travel internationally one to two times per year may be required.
