At YMCA NSW, we offer a competitive salary of approximately $75,000 to $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 2IC - Children Services to join our team in Winston Hills. As a key member of our Out-of-School Hours Care (OSHC) team, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service that aligns with YMCA NSW's values.

In this dynamic leadership position, you will oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging programs following My Time Our Place Volume II principals. You will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with YMCA NSW families, schools, and charity partners to turn our global mission into local action.

Your key responsibilities will include managing a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth, and developing new skills through our online L&D module programs. You will also be responsible for supervising Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours, as well as ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A strong background in teaching or early childhood education, with a Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent;
  • Experience leading others and overseeing a team;
  • Ability to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day;
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including block shifts and split shifts as required;
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check and current First Aid and CPR certification;
  • Police Check (paid for by the Y);
