Job Title: Domestic Support Assistant

Location: Nellsar Care Homes

Hourly Rate: £11.50ph

Hours: 20 or 28 hours per week available – every other weekend work required.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Domestic Support Assistant. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents, families, and visitors receive a positive impression of our home by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning residents' rooms and shared areas
  • Ensuring all of the residents' rooms and communal areas are kept smart, clean, and tidy.

Requirements:

  • A cheerful, caring, and compassionate nature
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to prioritise and organise work appropriately
  • The ability to work on own initiative, unsupervised
  • The desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others
  • Assisting in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment by ensuring adherence to Health & Safety and Welfare
  • Maintaining a high standard of hygiene by adhering to COSHH guidelines
