Production Leadership Role
This is a senior leadership position within our manufacturing team. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage a team of workshop personnel ensuring production and quality of product is maintained.
- You will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of production activities, including reviewing and analyzing production drawings to assist factory personnel.
- Work closely with the production manager to ensure planned production is met, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective production plans, schedules, and procedures to achieve business targets.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of production data, including output, quality control, and safety performance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure smooth operation of production and coordination of product flow and associated materials.
- Identify, analyze, and address any issues or problems that may impact production efficiency or quality.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of teamwork, respect, and open communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance productivity.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support the development of team members through training, coaching, and mentoring.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and progress toward goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is highly regarded.
- Strong interpersonal, training, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Lateral thinking, problem-solving, and advanced analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks through scheduling and resolve conflicts.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- LF class.
- C Class Licence at a minimum.
- Computer literate, Microsoft office.

Monday to Friday with some Saturday work. Penalty rates apply. Overtime available.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and a passion for manufacturing and quality.
This role requires a high level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The selected candidate will be required to pass a medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and participate in random drug and alcohol testing on site.
