Job Title: Senior Records and Information Governance Advisor

Job Description:

This is a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Senior Records and Information Governance Advisor. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic advice and processes for managing records in line with the State Records Act 1998.

You will ensure that our electronic document and records management system supports long-term business objectives, providing expert advice and training to facilitate efficient and secure information management.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and developing our records strategy, leading records projects, and facilitating compliance assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Record Management qualifications: A relevant degree or certification in record management is highly desirable.
  • Educational administration experience: You will have extensive experience working with electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS).
  • Applying NSW Government policies: You must be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the NSW State Records Act 1988 and its implications for record management.
  • Presentation skills: Strong presentation skills are essential for articulating and presenting solutions, ideas, and recommendations.
