We are seeking a Records Management Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing incoming correspondence and registering documents in Council's Electronic Document Records Management system.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the efficient management of records.
The ideal candidate will have experience in records and information management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
About the Role- Process incoming correspondence and register documents in Council's EDRMS
- Provide technical support to system users
- Demonstrate expertise in records and information management principles
- Tertiary qualifications in business and records management or equivalent experience
- Experience in the operation of an electronic document records management system
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Position InformationThis is a permanent, full-time position working 70 hours per fortnight with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off arrangement.
The role will be rostered to work at both Merrylands and Auburn offices on a rotating roster with occasional travel across worksites required.
Salary InformationThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
Grade 7 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,162.65 to $1,337.04 per week, plus 10% superannuation.
