**Customer Service Representative Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and supportive experience from the moment they walk in.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to engage with customers in a meaningful way, utilising their knowledge of financial products and services to support their holistic banking needs. By addressing everyday banking queries and referring customers to the right specialists, you will help ensure each customer receives tailored support and guidance.

This is a part-time, branch-based role that requires a flexible and adaptable approach. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate end-of-day balancing, educating customers on digital platforms, and identifying opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Assist customers with banking transactions, including cash deposits and withdrawals, and ensure accurate end-of-day balancing;
  • Educate customers on digital platforms, such as online banking and mobile apps;
  • Identify opportunities to improve customers' financial wellbeing through tailored solutions;

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong customer service experience, ideally in a customer-facing role;
  • Numerical skills, with proficiency in handling cash and an ability to complete financial transactions with accuracy;
  • An energetic personality, coupled with a genuine passion for helping people;
  • Resilience, with the ability to remain calm and composed whilst handling challenging situations;
  • Adaptability, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.
