About The Role

This position is responsible for developing and establishing policies and frameworks for regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and head office reporting. The successful candidate will guide and oversee the bank's reporting preparation process, ensuring the presence of robust controls and procedures, and guaranteeing accurate and timely reporting to regulators, external entities, and head office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and establish policies and frameworks for regulatory reporting, financial reporting, and head office reporting.
  • Guide and oversee the bank's reporting preparation process.
  • Coordinate the gathering of financial data and prepare and review financial reports and ARRA regulatory reports.
  • Automate financial data collection and manage the implementation of the management information system.
  • Prepare and report monthly profit and loss.
  • Lead a support team to ensure the punctual completion of all assigned tasks.
  • Manage payroll and PAYG lodgement.
  • Collaborate with external accountants.
  • Oversee the management of the Debtor and Creditor Ledger.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Post monthly journals.
  • Reconcile monthly supplier rebates.
About You

We are seeking an individual with 5+ years of experience in commercial accounting or Big 4 management with banking industry exposure. A CA/CPA qualification is a must. Large ERP suites experience is preferred. The successful candidate will have sound written and verbal communication skills, advanced Excel and modelling skills, and the ability to define, prioritise, and organise various tasks to meet deadlines.
