About this role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Carer to join our team at Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home in Prestons.

This part-time, 60 hours per fortnight role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of residents by providing person-centered care that enhances their well-being.

The successful applicant will be able to work flexibly, with shifts available during AM and PM periods on weekdays and weekends.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks according to individual care plans.
  • Administer medication and provide simple wound dressing as required.
  • Support residents in activities under supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with residents to continue doing things they love.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Physical ability to perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • A genuine listener who is curious about people's needs and preferences.
  • Compassionate and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Ability to problem-solve, connect with others, and overcome challenges as part of a supportive team.
