About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Group Procurement Governance function. As our Group Procurement Governance Lead, you will be responsible for spearheading sustainable solutions within our Strategic Procurement Group, simplifying processes, and driving automation across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic approaches to compliance and governance
  • Lead the implementation of sustainable procurement practices across Thiess' global operations
  • Drive ESG initiatives, including supplier dialogue and Modern Slavery compliance
  • Implement and manage cutting-edge procurement tools and analytics
  • Deliver training programs for global procurement and contracts teams

About You

We are looking for a forward-thinking leader with a strong educational background and extensive professional experience in commercial, contracts, and strategic procurement. You will bring a deep understanding of supply chain management and negotiation strategies, as well as a proven track record in implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and compliance measures.
