About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Governance and Performance Manager to lead the strategic design and execution of procurement governance and performance frameworks. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement, spend analytics, and reporting strategies to ensure alignment with Queensland State Government policies and legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the establishment of a strategic focus on contemporary procurement systems, analytics, and reporting practices;
  • Design and maintain a procurement governance framework, including controls, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms;
  • Build and maintain a library of tools and templates for the procurement lifecycle;
  • Oversee corporate purchase-to-pay activities and supplier risk management reporting;
  • Develop and implement contract and supplier relationship management frameworks;
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and stakeholder engagement.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, commerce, law, supply chain or other relevant degrees;
  • Three plus years' experience in a senior procurement or governance role;
  • Proven ability to develop procurement strategies, cost models, and key performance indicators;
  • Experience leading teams, managing centralised spend data, and utilising SAP or equivalent financial systems;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
