Public Law Lawyer Opportunity

We have an exceptional opportunity for a newly admitted lawyer to join our Public Law team in Canberra.
Key Responsibilities- Drafting administrative decisions in statutory schemes is a key part of this role.
- Defending merits and judicial review applications in tribunals and courts will be your responsibility.
- You will provide advice on Freedom of Information (FOI) and privacy issues.
- Conducting administrative inquiries will also be part of your duties.
- Opportunities for secondments with select clients and advocacy in litigated matters are available.
- Working in a supportive environment with opportunities to develop your career is what we offer.
- A newly admitted lawyer with up to 3 years' experience is required.
- A baseline security clearance and full Australian working rights are necessary.
- Some Commonwealth experience is preferred but not essential.
- Team players with an interest in public law and advocacy are encouraged to apply.
