Our organization is a leading national law firm with a proud history. We have an exciting opportunity for a lawyer to join our Government & Commercial Law team in Canberra.
As part of this role, you will work on information law engagements and digital transformation projects, supporting government clients on privacy law, confidentiality, and legislation decisions.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have 2-5 years' experience in information law, especially federal privacy law, and familiarity with archives, FOI, and statutory secrecy provisions.
- Experience with privacy assessments;
- Managing privacy complaints;
- Ethical data use guidance;
Candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively, building effective relationships with clients and peers. This includes strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
