Job Title: Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our software development capability. This role will be responsible for the governance and management of our software product development and delivery, including formalisation of program-level software management systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering governance, software team management, commercial deployment of software, DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks, CI/CD processes, rapid/agile development processes, hardware/software integration, and security clearance at NV1.

About You:

  • You should have experience in software engineering governance and software team management.
  • You should have experience managing the commercial deployment of software.
  • You should have experience employing DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks for software development.
  • You should have experience implementing and managing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes for incremental software delivery.
  • You should have experience with rapid/agile development processes.
  • You should have experience with hardware/software integration.
  • You must reside in Australia.
  • You must currently hold, or be eligible to hold, a security clearance at NV1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead holistic governance and management of TAS software product development and delivery.
  • You will manage, with the assistance of project leadership, a team of network engineers, software engineers, and software developers.
  • You will represent the interests of TAS to customers and in public forums.

Requirements:

  • You must currently hold, or be eligible to hold, a security clearance at NV1.
  • You must reside in Australia.
