We are seeking a talented Software Development Expert to join our team.
About the Role:
The Software Development Expert will work in a dynamic environment to develop and maintain advanced hydrodynamic analysis software used in cross-products. This role involves designing, programming, and documenting numerical algorithms for offshore engineering and general mathematical calculations. The expert will also assist a team of programmers to implement different engineering design modules for Bentley's MOSES product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement numerical algorithms for engineering and general mathematical calculations
- Develop advanced hydrodynamic analysis software
- Mentor junior developers
- Work closely with the technical support group to troubleshoot engineering design modules
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Naval Architecture, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or relevant experience
- Advanced programming skills in FORTRAN
- Strong understanding of Hydrodynamics
- Experience in developing software using Intel FORTRAN and Object-oriented programming
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
