Software Development Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced software development leader to oversee the design and development of complex software solutions.

This key role involves providing strategic leadership to a team of software engineers, ensuring timely and budgeted production of high-quality updates to our product.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing input to the ongoing evolution of the product architecture, ensuring implementation is aligned with overall group architecture and product direction.
  • Driving improvements in software quality, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  • Managing personnel, including daily supervision, goal setting, learning and development plans, and mentoring activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in system development or software development.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related discipline.
  • A thorough understanding of current best practice software development methodologies.
  • High-level experience in Java, JavaScript, C++, and/or Smalltalk.
  • Proficiency in Vue.js and ideally Vuetify.
  • The ability to motivate and inspire a team of skilled software engineers.
