**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of a Personal Banking Consultant. This position involves working with clients to provide expert advice on banking products and services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of banking products and services, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time role, based on a 38 hour work week Monday to Friday. The successful candidate may also be required to work across any branch in the region.

Further duties include:

  • Assisting the Local Manager with business development and the management and processing of complex loans
  • Organising loan distribution and ensuring that cheques are accurately issued to the appropriate parties
  • Assisting with training and coaching of staff
  • Managing the retention program in relation to the mortgage book for our members

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Lending experience and sales skills
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Sound mathematical skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • A strong understanding of Queensland Country products and services
