Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify risks and vulnerabilities, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Deliver high-quality support services aligned with FCS program guidelines, focusing on safety, risk, and family wellbeing.
- Engage with families through diverse methods, including telephone interviews, home visits, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Act as a key resource for addressing child protection risks and guiding safety planning.
- Build strong relationships with local service providers to ensure seamless support and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with FCS program timeframes and service standards, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all client interactions.
- A bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or equivalent.
- Experience in comprehensive needs assessments, focusing on safety planning for children and families.
- Expertise in working with families facing complex issues, including child protection and cultural sensitivities.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with Aboriginal and CALD communities in a culturally respectful way.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills for triage and assessment processes.
- A current NSW WWCC and a current driver's license.
