Manufacturing Operations Lead

Oversee specialist teams and clients across multiple industries from production facilities.

  • Manage unskilled & semi-skilled staff, provide coaching and mentoring
  • Lead development of fabrication and stores teams, establish accountability framework
  • Track multiple jobs concurrently, source materials to despatch
  • Maintain preventative maintenance for tools & equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in hands-on roles with effective time management and balance between floor and office work

Previous experience as a Production, Fabrication or Operations Manager in jobbing environment

Strong coaching skills for small specialist teams comprised of unskilled & semi-skilled workers

Belief in & involvement with quality systems like Lean and 5S
