Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop preliminary sketch designs for client approval and create comprehensive designs in line with building codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Prepare formal submissions, including design drawings and reports, and submit them to relevant authorities.
  • Assist Project Leaders in site inspections, client meetings, and consultant coordination to keep projects on track.
  • Progress project documentation using Revit software according to office standards.
  • Prepare and review tender documentation and assist with the tendering process.
  • Observe contract conditions, including site inspections and post-completion assessments.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality assurance documentation and ensure compliance with project quality procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with Project Leaders and Directors, providing updates on project progress and seeking guidance as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
  • Eligibility for registration as an Architect in Australia.
  • Proficiency in Revit (Archicad experience also highly regarded).
  • Strong design, documentation, and contract administration skills.
  • Solid understanding of building codes and construction techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
