Overview Kearney Architecture is a boutique architectural practice with a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, resort and leisure, hospitality, and multi-residential projects. Operating primarily in Australia and the Oceania region, we integrate architecture, interior design, and master planning to ensure comprehensive and bespoke project delivery.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Architect located in our Studio in Brisbane. You will oversee project design and development, prepare and present design proposals, manage project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
You will be involved in mentoring junior staff, conducting site visits, and liaising with contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. As a senior role, we offer a competitive remuneration package with potential for career growth within our expanding practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee project design and development
- Prepare and present design proposals
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior staff
- Conduct site visits and liaise with contractors and stakeholders
Proven experience in architectural design, project management, and client interaction
Proficiency in using architectural Revit design software
Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
Ability to manage project timelines and budgets effectively
Experience in conducting site visits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
A degree in Architecture and registration with an Australian Architect Registration Board and Australian residency
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
