We are seeking an experienced and skilled Orthotist to join our multidisciplinary team. As an Orthotist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthotic services to adults and children with disabilities. This includes assessment, measurement, fabrication and provision of orthoses suited to the specific needs of our customers.
About the Role:
- Provide centre-based and community-based orthotic services (where appropriate).
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the customer and their support network.
- Participate in emerging opportunities including research, pilot projects and service innovations.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Orthotics and Prosthetics.
- Current registration with The Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA).
- Experience working as a clinician within the disability sector.
- Knowledge of strengths-based practice, as well as family and person-centred approaches.
