About the Opportunity

We are seeking talented Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs to join the opening team of Batard, our latest venture. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced chefs to be part of a dynamic and prestigious kitchen. As a member of our team, you will work closely with senior chefs to deliver exceptional quality, consistency, and efficiency in your section. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment that fosters growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the highest standards
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of food safety standards
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and dishes
Requirements
  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef in a high-end restaurant
  • Strong culinary skills with an eye for detail and a passion for quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Team-oriented and strong communication skills
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Eye for detail and strong time management
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
