Job Title: Client Service Officer

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our client's team in Hurstville. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

This role requires providing a broad range of services and advice to clients, advocates, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support
  • Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
  • Making assessments based on information provided to determine eligibility for Housing
  • Work collaboratively with internal specialists and external service providers and make referrals where additional support requirements are identified
  • Maintain call records, system entries and client/service database in line with records management guidelines
  • Undertake outbound calls to clients to facilitate completion of projects
  • Advocate and provide assistance to clients
  • Manage tenancies and support clients to maintain successful tenancies
  • Support community participation initiatives to contribute to harmonious neighborhoods and stronger communities
  • Investigate and action complaints relating to Residential Tenancies Agreement breaches
  • Monitor property condition and facilitate maintenance as needed
  • Conduct property inspections, educating tenants on agreements and obligations
  • Provide administrative support, including correspondence processing and reporting
About You:
  • Current Driver's License required
  • Empathetic nature with experience working with clients requiring complex support
  • Passionate about advocating for vulnerable clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to work autonomously and take initiative
  • Superior organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Will undergo National Police Check
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Commit to assignment duration
