Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering health support services to students with complex and invasive healthcare needs, using established procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for students.
  • Providing personal care, including administering medication and performing delegated tasks, in accordance with health plans and policies.
  • Responding to emergency situations, utilizing first aid and other standard training, to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to maintain competency and expertise in delivering health support services.
Requirements:
  • A current First-Aid Certificate, demonstrating commitment to student safety and well-being.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work sensitively and establish positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, adhering to legal and policy requirements, and upholding professional standards.
  • Understanding and application of written instructions, ensuring accurate implementation of health plans and policies.
  • Identifying and managing emergency situations, utilizing established procedures, to ensure student safety and well-being.
  • Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety practices, enabling safe working environments and minimizing risk.
