Job Role

This exciting opportunity seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering person-centred therapy services to our clients, working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve exceptional outcomes.

You will manage an allocated caseload, assess participants' functional capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans to enhance their quality of life.

As part of our team, you will also have opportunities to mentor and nurture early career clinicians, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
  • Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity.
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life.
  • Mentor and nurture early career clinicians.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in delivering person-centred Occupational Therapy services.
  • Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
