Our experienced OTs in our team who specialise in complex home modifications, ensuring clients can live safely and independently in environments tailored to their needs. Additionally, our team is actively involved inSupported Disability Accommodation (SDA)andSupported Independent Living (SIL) referrals, giving you the opportunity to work on life-changing projects that support long-term independence and quality of life for people with disabilities.

We offer a truly unique opportunity for Occupational Therapists who are passionate about making a meaningful impact across both aged care and disability sectors. In addition to OT responsibilities within the NDIS, our team is empowered to provide referrals through both theHome Care Package (HCP)and theCommonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). This dual capability allows you to support clients with a more holistic and flexible approach, blending aged care services with disability-focused interventions to meet diverse and evolving needs. Whether you're working with older adults seeking independence at home or individuals with disabilities requiring tailored support, you'll have the tools and pathways to make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) your responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Conduct specialist assessments (e.g., functional capacity, independent living skills) aligned with participants' NDIS goals.
- Develop tailored intervention plans and detailed reports to support skill development and capacity building.
- Collaborate with participants, families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to deliver person-centred care.
- Monitor client progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Ensure services are delivered within NDIS funding allocations and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for a skilled Occupational Therapist who has:

- A qualified and passionate Occupational Therapist with strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Someone who thrives in a collaborative, person-centred environment and is committed to empowering people with disabilities.
- A professional with a solid understanding of the NDIS framework and experience working with diverse participants.
- An excellent communicator who can build effective relationships with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage caseloads, meet reporting requirements, and adapt to changing needs.
- A client-minded professional who puts participants at the centre of everything they do, focusing on strengths, goals, and meaningful outcomes.

Requirements

To be eligible, you must have or willing to complete:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Current registration with relevant professional body (if you are an Allied Health professional under AHPRA this is mandatory)
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
