About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Interior Fitout Association (IFA).

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the growth and development of the IFA, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery, and working closely with a highly effective and experienced volunteer board.

The CEO will be instrumental in driving the IFA's vision and culture, creating collaborative partnerships to increase member benefits, and delivering process improvement outcomes to increase staff effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and grow the membership base
  • Grow sponsor revenue and service offerings
  • Lead a small but dedicated workforce
  • Drive the IFA's vision and culture
  • Create collaborative partnerships
  • Deliver process improvement outcomes
  • Work effectively with the Chair and board of management
  • Deliver a highly effective National Conference
  • Ensure state branch meetings and events are effective
About You

We are looking for a highly innovative and customer-focused leader with executive-level negotiation skills, the ability to advocate for individual businesses and the sector, and a strong relationship-building capacity.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in leadership or management, experience as a General Manager or CEO, and a proven track record of delivering and interpreting management-level financial documents.

We are open to negotiating an executive-level salary package for the right individual and are willing to consider applications from across Australia.

The IFA Head Office is based on the Central Coast, but the role can be delivered in a hybrid nature, with opportunities to travel to every state in Australia and work with driven members.
