About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our team and drive growth on a national scale.

As the CEO, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the processes and service delivery of state and federal service contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Board, Managing Director, and Executive Leadership team to shape and execute the organisational vision and strategic direction.
  • Lead and manage a nationwide team.
  • Oversee and navigate the performance of state and federal government contracts, ensuring compliance and effective operations.
  • Liaise with Federal and State government departments, making a productive contribution to sector discussions and supporting service excellence.
  • Leverage commercial knowledge to drive organisational success.
  • Oversee tendering processes, contract timetables, and delivery to meet organisational objectives.
  • Demonstrate a well-developed understanding of risk management, technology governance, innovation, and strong governance.
  • Significant experience in building effective reporting processes that measure the right things to optimize the performance of the organisation.
  • Build and maintain performance structures and cultures that promote excellence and accountability.
  • Foster a consultative approach to strategy development and reputation management, engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, adept at crafting and delivering appropriate messages to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate contemporary understanding of issues facing the community sector, particularly the disability sector.
  • Demonstrated experience of working with people living with a disability will be highly regarded.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chief Executive Officer or Senior Executive in a not-for-profit or commercial organisation, with essential experience in managing state and federal government funded contracts.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Social Sciences is ideal.
  • Experience in building and maintaining high-performance cultures.
  • Exceptional consultative and communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategy, and with a hands-on approach to leadership, bring people along to understand how performance is delivered.
  • Hold a current Driver Licence and have the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
  • Must be able to be approved by ASQA and all government agencies for fit and proper person test.
