We are seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. This role will see you working across both our Workshop and Spare Parts divisions, helping to grow our customer base and strengthen relationships within the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Drive sales across our service and parts divisions
  • Implement sales initiatives to drive growth and identify new market opportunities

As a BDM, you will be responsible for promoting Trucksmart's services and products, attending industry events, and networking to build brand awareness. You will also analyse customer data and industry trends to refine our approach, ensuring Trucksmart remains competitive in the industry.

Requirements:
  • Energy & drive – You're proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to problem solve
  • Mechanical aptitude – A strong interest in mechanics and the transport industry – prior truck knowledge is an advantage
  • Influencing ability – You know how to build and nurture relationships and close deals
  • Strong organisational and record-keeping skills – You have the ability to accurately document customer interactions, maintain up-to-date records, and ensure all data remains current and factual for effective follow-ups and relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills – You can confidently engage with customers, build strong relationships, and articulate information clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Hardworking attitude – You take initiative, stay focused on achieving targets, and are committed to delivering outstanding results and customer service
