Product Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Product Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the e-commerce team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products are available on our website on time, with high-quality visuals, videos, attributes, tags, product descriptions, pricing, and in the correct category; meeting internal guidelines for both AU & NZ.

The role also involves assisting the e-commerce team to deliver the digital strategy and provide a superior e-commerce experience. You will work closely with various departments to ensure we are delivering best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end enrichment process for e-commerce including all data points and photography.
  • Ensure product enrichment is managed efficiently, with strong attention to detail and in a timely manner.
  • Generate/create product descriptions using product data available and using the appropriate tone of voice for the brand.
  • Manage product samples for photography and liaise with re-touchers to ensure photos are returned in a timely manner.
  • Manage e-commerce photography shoots utilizing the internal photography team and approve images for the site.
  • Liaise with brands and store teams to get samples required for photographing.
  • Own the product data on site, ensuring all data is accurate to deliver a best-in-class CX and reduce returns.
  • Ensure the product experience (visuals, angles, background) is uniform across the website for different categories (shoes, Socks, Accessories).
  • Optimize the user filtering experience by associating relevant attributes to products.
  • Work with the Ecommerce/SEO team to ensure products are optimized for SEO to drive traffic to site from organic search.
  • Create strong relationships with the brands to ensure product information is provided in a timely manner to facilitate the enrichment process.
  • Manage the onboarding of any new brands.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years e-commerce operations coordination, preferably in Magento.
  • Copywriting capability.
  • MS Excel (Intermediate-Advanced).
  • Preferably footwear retail or wholesale background or an interest in Sport/Running.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive.
  • Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider team.
  • Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (preferred but not essential).
  • Highly organized with great communication skills.
  • Marketing, business degree/diploma preferable.
