**Job Summary:**

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced educational leader to drive our student wellbeing strategy forward.

The Opportunity:
  • Lead and support the pastoral team, ensuring comprehensive care for all students through proactive management.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate wellbeing programs that align with our Fidelis Model and strategic plan, fostering a values-driven environment.
  • Promote contemporary approaches to pastoral care informed by current research and best practice, embracing innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage student behaviour and wellbeing processes, including the Code of Behaviour and Behaviour Management Plan, ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.
  • Support Prefects and student leaders in building a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting mutual respect and empathy.
  • Partner with parents through regular forums and communication on wellbeing and child development, strengthening relationships and fostering collaborative growth.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting, WHS, and student safety requirements, maintaining a culture of accountability and responsibility.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in pastoral care and wellbeing, with a strong track record of delivering results-driven initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking, combined with exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, to build and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
